Tired of bundling up against the cold? Meet Cat Meow…his sole purpose is to brighten up your winter wardrobe! Needle felt Cat Meow on a garment you bring to class with you. (Suggestions for garments & materials list are available at Fiberworks)
Thursday, March 20 at 6:30pm – FIBREGE EGGS
The best Easter eggs ever! No dye mess, no vinegar smell, they won’t break, and they never get rotten! These are great eggs for small children! Cover a pre-felted base with the color of your choice and add a design. Put them in a basket or add a hanger & decorate a tree.
You will learn to knit this easy baby sweater, hat and booties! Sweater is designed for either boy or girl but instructor can teach some embellishments if you would like a more “girlie” look. Hats and booties can be made for either boy or girl. Students must know how to cast on, knit, purl and cast off. The first class will cover choosing yarn, knitting a gauge swatch and starting to knit from the pattern. Homework will be to make the two fronts and back. The second class will include sewing up the shoulder seams and learning to pick up the neck and arm stitches. The hat and booties will also be started.
Class will meet on Thursday, March 13th and March 27th from 6:30 until 8:30pm.
